[Science magazine’s 25th world -leading scientists appealed: more powerful action should be taken to prevent AI risks] Financial Association May 22nd. With the second AI security summit (May 21st to 22nd)Holding in Seoul, South Korea, 25 top AI scientists in the world called for more powerful actions to respond to AI risks.Published in an expert consensus article published in Science magazine, the expert group outlines the priority of emergency policy that should be adopted worldwide.The article pointed out that global leaders need to consider carefully that in the next ten years, the general AI system that transcends human capabilities may be developed.They said that although governments from all over the world have been discussing advanced AI and trying to introduce preliminary guidelines, this is still far from the rapid and reform progress that many experts expect.At present, the research on AI security is seriously lacking, and only 1%-3%of AI publications involve related security issues.In addition, there are no appropriate mechanisms or institutions in the world to prevent abuse and reckless behavior, including how to use autonomous systems that can take action and achieve their own goals independently.
